Hello Everyone!
How’s your week going? If it’s going well, great … and if not, you’ve only got a few more days left (yay Hump Day!) 🙂
Today I’m sharing with you one of my favorite looks that will take you from work straight to happy hour! All you need are a few key pieces to make the transition.
On it’s own, this top and skirt make up the perfect summer work look — if you have meetings with clients or partners, top it off with a blazer and look sharp! If it’s more of a business casual day, just wear it as is. The asymmetry and wrap detailing adds interest and an element of sophistication, while the black shoes and black leather watch help ground the entire look and keep it firmly planted in professional territory.
During work hours, I like to keep the lariat necklace tucked inside the blouse. But once happy hour hits, pull it out and let it hang loose! And a black leather jacket is an easy addition to help “toughen” up your look for the after-hours.
This look, and it’s versatility, really is all in the details. The foundation is set — the blouse and the skirt. The shoes and the watch mean all business. But its easily tempered in the evening hours by adding some relaxed, dangling necklaces, a small handbag with metal detail, and the leather jacket.
The result — a polished, professional look that easily transforms into a sexy, but sophisticated, after-hours hit. Shop the entire look below!
Have a great rest of the week you guys, and stay tuned for another new post on Friday 🙂
yours, Kristin

Oh this is fabulous, I love how this came together and they’re actually two pieces from two brands at different times that match perfectly.
