Hello! Twenty twenty-two is about to come to an end my friends, and I simply can’t believe it! What are you up to for the big night? Going out or staying in? We’re definitely staying in … I’m a total homebody 🙂
No matter your plans, you should be able to reach into your Essential 25-stocked closet and toss together the perfect outfit! While I did include a few extras here — mostly accessories — you could certainly use your Essential 25 bag without issue, and stick with your diamond or pearl stud earrings.
Look One is casual but polished — perfect for a small get together with friends or family in their home. The “broach” you see on me and in the collage above is actually a hair clip (thank you, Target), but you can clip it anywhere, your pocket, collar, bag — and now it’s a pretty broach! Or you can wear it in your hair, of course.

Look Two is a step up! Perhaps you’re heading to a party at a restaurant, bar or other semi-formal venue. This look is sleek, sophisticated, and surprisingly comfortable. Plus, between the silk pants and top and cashmere wrap, it will give you all the cozy feels!

On to Look 3 … the formal look. I chose a velvet blazer here, given the formal feel, but your basic black blazer would work fine also, especially when paired with a silk or satin pant. I left the blazer bare underneath, but if your blazer has a very low cut, or you prefer a more conservative look, toss on your silk camisole underneath. I also swapped the basic studs for a statement earring, and a red lip would look stunning.

Finally, the “watch the ball drop from your couch” look! It’s comfy, cozy, but polished enough for company! This is the perfect casual look when welcoming close friends and family to your home. Slippers are totally optional, and the bag is for any pre-party errands!
