Hello Everyone! I hope you’re having a good week so far — we’re almost half way there 🙂

This look is a bit different for me — when my husband saw it he had two reactions — 1) “wow, honey you look hot!” (nice that I can still elicit that kind of reaction from him after nearly 10 years of marriage!), and 2) “this is really different for you, I love it!”

Don’t get me wrong, every woman should have her go-to style — the looks she relies on to look and feel amazing. BUT, every now and then you’ve gotta branch out a bit — try something new and unexpected. Every woman deserves to feel the way I felt when my husband expressed his thoughts on this look — and you’ll get the opportunity when you step outside the norm a bit — people will notice!

I love this look because it uses a particular piece — the utility vest — in an entirely new and fresh way. No one would think to pair a utility vest with tuxedo pants, heels, and statement earrings. It’s the perfect blend of masculine meets feminine — which is why it’s so darn sexy! And, it’s sexy in a non-obvious way — there’s no cleavage or endless legs — I left quite a bit to the imagination here, but it still got me a “wow, you look hot,” from my hubby! That’s because there’s nothing sexier than a look that leaves something to the imagination! Add some detail: a-rope & leather tassel belt to define my waist, statement earrings, a delicate wire choker, and stand-out sunglasses, and you’re ready to wow 🙂
