Hi you guys … Happy Friday! I hope you had a great week! Anything fun planned for the weekend?
Today’s post, in addition to being the third post in my White After Labor Day Series, is all about the weekend … this look is one of my go-tos for a busy, get-a-gazillion-things-done kinda weekends. It’s sporty yet polished, comfy, hands-free (thank you to whoever created the first cross-body), and it works for a whole variety of casual weekend occasions — errands, casual brunch, baseball game, to the orchard or pumpkin patch, or a trip to the park.
So … white jeans, now?? YES — year ’round, absolutely. It’s all about what you pair them with — skip the pastels and florals, and go for a rich camel, mustard, wine, evergreen, or even black or navy if you’re looking to stick with head-to-toe neutrals. I LOVE the color of this sweater…. in fact, I just love this sweater. If you follow my Insta, you know I have it in about 3 different colors, and I have it on repeat. This color, called “camel,” is actually more of a rich copper color — it just screams autumn, and it’s only $30 … yes, seriously.
And sneakers, as you know, are a frequent addition to many of my weekend looks (I’m chasing Livi around now … they’re kinda a necessity 🙂 ). And baseball caps are always a do … but for fall, take it up a notch… add some texture … suede just looks so luxe, and wool is wonderful when the temps dip a bit lower.
Add a great bag with sporty details, some aviators, a chunky gold watch, and diamond or pearl studs, and you’ve got a polished, super-cool, sporty look for a crazy run-until-you-drop weekend!
