Hi Everyone … Happy Monday …
I always thought it sounded odd putting those two words together … but, then the positive side of me kicks in, and I realize that it means I have a brand new week … a fresh start … to accomplish new things and enjoy time with the people I love most.
Mondays also call for THAT outfit … you know, the one that says “hello!” when you walk into the room. But it’s also comfortable, flattering, and it makes you feel like you can conquer the world. That’s what this outfit is for me …
Feminine, polished, professional … this outfit is to me what spinach is to Popeye … the color, the ruffle and stripe details, the textures … it’s all just like yaaaaaaas!
There’s few color combinations I love more for fall than blush and wine. Blush is a color, much like white, that I just insist on wearing year-round. It’s one of my favorite colors, hands down. And the best way to take lighter, softer colors into fall is to pair them with dark, rich autumnal colors … and wine is the perfect foil to a soft, delicate blush.
And the stripes and ruffles on this blouse are just gorgeous … they give it that little something extra … and, little extras are usually what make an outfit. After all, style IS all in the details.
As I said, I love blush … so shoes and sunnies … yup, in blush too. Add a sleek handbag, rose lips, contoured cheekbones … and it’s a power Monday 🙂
