Hi Guys! Did you have a good weekend?
I wasn’t feeling the best … but Jacob went all out yesterday with a full day of birthday festivities for me (yes, I’m now officially one year older … not sure if that’s a 🙂 or a 🙁 )
I think the highlight of my day, aside from just spending time with Jacob and the sugar plum (because that’s ALWAYS the highlight of my day!), was our brunch. One of my favorite things is croque-monsieur, so Jacob took me to Béarnaise… one of the best French places in the city … and, instead of croque-monsieur, they had croque-madame … all the yumminess of a croque-monsieur, plus a sunny-side up egg on top! So good! And it was the perfect fall day for my favorite fall outfit — a chunky knit and over-the-knee boots.
There’s few things I love more in the fall than a super-soft chunky knit. Add a high neck and I’m in heaven.
And every woman needs a pair of flat boots for the fall and winter months. I love the over-the-knee look, and suede will always be at the top of my list.
Add some skinnies, a cross-body, and classic cat eyes, and you have one of my all-time favorite fall looks!
