Hello All! We are about to close the first month of 2020, can you believe it? I can’t. It’s been a busy, whirlwind of a month … Olivia is blowing my mind each day with her commitment to violin, and her excitement at learning to read … she read her first sentence yesterday and my mama heart swelled with pride. I owe it entirely to the book above, which we’ve been following this month.
And Emme, watching her big sister learn violin, wants to learn too! However, she is in no way ready to handle a real violin, so we decided to give it a whirl with the guitar instead. The one above is pretty realistic, but cheap enough that if she happens to break it (good chance, but fingers crossed), it won’t be a big deal!
And that mirror, oh that mirror … I’ve been eyeing it for over a year. I just didn’t have anywhere to put it until I moved some things around. As you all know, I don’t buy “stuff” just to buy it … it needs to be something that we’ll love, and it needs to have a place in our home. Otherwise, it just ends up as clutter or stored in a closet … and becomes a major source of stress for me. If you missed my recent declutter guide you can check it out here … am I the only one that has a physical reaction to mess & clutter?
And then there are a few fun finds for spring and upcoming vacations that I just adore. Those sandals … one of a few things I think all women who live in a warmer climate should own. I’ll probably put together a separate capsule of shoes for you all … the Essential 25 Collection is the foundation of course (check it out here), but it’s also thoughtfully collected and the items are meant to be season-less … my goal was for it to apply to all women, regardless of their climate and environment. Unless you live in a magical bubble where it’s 70 degrees year-round, you’re probably going to need a few more items to deal with the extremes. That’s why I plan to introduce seasonal capsules to supplement the Essential 25 Collection … your spring edition will hit within the next couple months, so stay tuned! In the meantime, snap up these sandals, because I guarantee they’ll make the cut.
Wishing you all a great weekend, and welcome to February!
