Happy Sunday! Are you ready for Thanksgiving? Can you believe it’s this week? Our plans are still up in the air, but no matter what, there will be turkey, stuffing, mashed potatoes, and my favorite — green bean casserole! What’s the one Thanksgiving menu item you simply can’t live without? Drop me a comment and let me know!
This past week, we made one of my favorite “healthy” snacks/desserts that tastes much more sinful than it actually is — baked pears! And they’re so easy, with only 4 (perhaps 5) ingredients … we made them as an after school snack. Preheat your oven to 350 and line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Slice two pears in half, and remove the core and seeds. Sprinkle each half with a pinch of cinnamon, a sprinkle or two of chopped walnuts, and drizzle with honey. Place on baking sheet and bake in oven for 30 minutes. Remove from oven and let cool for 2-3 minutes before serving. Optional: drizzle with caramel sauce before diving in!
Have you noticed the current plaid craze? It’s taking me back to the 90s grunge days of my youth, but in a much cooler, more sophisticated way. The coolness factor remains, but the grunge is (thankfully) absent. I’m loving a plaid button-down half-tucked into high-waist jeans.

Another favorite right now — these hoop + baroque pearl earrings (here’s another option). As you know from my Essential 25 Post, pearl studs are a must have. But I adore gold hoops, and if I could add a few more items to the Essential 25 list, they’d make it! These beauties combine the two.
Now, I love beauty, but function is also key — and if you’re looking for a bag that checks both boxes, this is the one! I’ve had two full-size Fawn diaper bags, but now that all my kiddos are out of diapers, I no longer need all that space. Enter the mini. I stash my laptop in the back pocket, and there’s plenty of room for my planner, a water bottle, and all other essentials.
I mentioned this book in my previous Sunday Post, and it has since moved from must-read status to current read status, and you MUST read it. It’s wonderful, beautiful, and incredibly inspiring.
I also found this great post on how to repurpose old (ugly) Christmas ornaments. These are a bit of a project but look so worth it!

Reading your article helped me a lot and I agree with you. But I still have some doubts, can you clarify for me? I’ll keep an eye out for your answers.
