Hi Guys! I hope you enjoyed the long weekend (well, for those of you that got it off). Truth be told, I didn’t get it off, but Jacob had it off, so I took it off!
We spent some quality time with Livi, and Jacob “recovered” after completing a 12-hour rucksack challenge to support our troops! He started at 11pm Saturday night and went until 11 am Sunday morning. He and his team covered about 22 miles with 30 lb packs on their back, including a wide variety of military style drills (yes, with the 30 lb pack still on their backs!). Lets just say, Monday morning he needed a little bit more help than usual 🙂
And I got into the whole “comfy” thing along with him. But, as I’ve said on numerous occasions, “comfy” doesn’t have to mean sloppy. It’s all in the details. And this top — a cozy, super-soft sweatshirt, is all about detail.
I’m all about lace up tops right now — and they’re everywhere … there’s so many to choose from!
A top like this doesn’t need additional embellishment … simple white jeans, ballet flats, and diamond studs ,,, and we’re done.
Oh, and one final tip about lace up tops … there are so many cool options available if you just put in a little extra work. If you want to make yours truly unique, head to the fabric store and grab some pretty ribbon or leather cording and swap out the generic lacing of your top with something different. Buy a few different types of lacing and swap them out anytime you want to change up the look!
And you can check out some of my favorite lace up tops below … I hope you all have a great week, and Happy Shopping ladies 🙂
xoxo, K

Loving it – specially how the ties on the back of the sweater match the pink ballerinas..
